Absent From School
A parent or guardian must call in each day the student is absent from school. Please call the office at (815) 230-9920 at the beginning of the school day.
Schools are responsible for teaching your child. But school's can't do their job if your child is absent frequently. Learning builds day by day. A child who misses a day of school misses a day of learning. Being late for school hurts a child's learning too. A student who is 10 minutes late every day will miss 30 hours of instruction during the year.
Children can copy notes or make up assignments, but they can never get back what's most important: the discussions, the questions, the explanations by the teacher and the thinking that makes learning come alive. |

From Bus to Bus
Students are assigned buses at the beginning of the year. They must ride their assigned bus to and from school and get on/off at their assigned stop.
The Middle School office will not give out bus passes to ride another bus. Please contact the Transportation Department with any questions at (815) 577-6290.
